Spiros Kalentzis

Spiros Kalentzis is a rowing champion, athlete of the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki (Rowing Department) and a member of the Greek National Team.

As an athlete he shows commitment, persistence and great enthusiasm. As a person Spyros is honest, eager to learn and hardworking. All these qualities combined with the impeccable way in which he co-operates with his fellow athletes and the respect he shows to his coaches, have led to a series of successes. Since 2012 he is consistently on the very first places in the National championship, but has also many international achievements (3rd in European Championship 2018(under 23), 4th World Champion ‘18, 3rd in Balkan Championship 2014, 2nd in Coastal Rowing and numerous top places in Indoor Rowing Championships world championship). Spiros has been awarded from the Hellenic Olympic Commit for his rowing results in 2018.

Spyros is also studying Sport Science and physical education in Aristotelian university of Thessaloniki. Currently he is getting ready for the Olympic qualifications, and has even greater expectations for the future.
